Almost Holy People
About the Book
A miracle? Swarms of silvery fish daily form what appears to be the image of the Virgin Mary in the placid waters of a Tennessee lake. A priest’s investigation reveals the life stories of three remarkable women whose separate, sometimes complicated spiritual journeys eventually brought them to the peaceful Tennessee Valley where they started Sophia’s House of Quiet Prayer and Contemplation, a place where those of all faith traditions find solidarity and peace with one another.
