About the Book
My Brown Skin, takes aim at an incident that happens much too often in a world where diversity should be embraced. We all are beautifully and uniquely created. No one is a mistake. This book is about a little African American girl who was told by her classmate from another culture that she hated her brown skin.
About the Author
Pamela Hornsby Irvin graduated from Forest Park Community College with a AAS in Early Childhood Education and is currently pursuing a business degree with an emphasis in Project Management. She was a Substitute teacher for the St. Louis Charter Schools, St. Louis Public Schools an taught for the Head Start Program. She understands the relevance of children learning to read and developing advanced vocabularies at a young age.
