About the Book
Family is the bedrock of all humanity. This book provides insights through the eyes of Selina who represents a typical African-American matriarch with family connections to and origins in slavery. About the Author
Clement Emehel is a descendant of Selina, who is the central character in this book. He is the current Johnston Family Reunion Historian. Clement was born in Malawi to a Nigerian father and an African-American mother. He was raised in Zambia and now lives in North Carolina with his wife, Shawana, and their daughter, Grace. He is the owner of Emehel Consulting, Inc. and serves his community through his church, work, and volunteerism.
